January 1st 2010

Well here is my first post of 365 for 2010, I really hope i manage to keep this up as it will really help me to document my scrap booking albums and hopefully help with my journaling. Woke up this morning to sunny skies and just thought to my self Happy new Year, was a great feeling and a great way to start the day. So i did my usual washing to get it out in the glorious sunshine and then got Lucy and I ready. Poor Gary was on night shift last night so once Lucy was in bed I sat on skype to my gran and Uncle David then sat until around 1am with my good friend Jeunesse so take it from me i was sooooooooooooo tired this morning. Anyway about 12 I thought i would take Lucy for a walk(slip slap slopped 1st of course) , so we stopped at the dairy next door for ice cream then made our way to the park. Was great as there was no one else there when we arrived so Lucy had first dibs on everything though she just wanted the swings and i swear i pushed her for 30 minutes , then a couple came with their 6month and 2 yr old sons so Lucy then had a play and i had a good gab. anyway around 130 we headed home to get some food. I am just loving the weather the now and its great to be getting my tan back again :) When we got home Gary was up and about so we headed over to the castle for a look and Gary wanted to just cut the Gib out for his socket covers. Was really good to see as the painters had completed the whole living areas and the had the cardboard of off the Granite worktop So happy with what we chose as its so clean and fresh. Just wish we had went with other builders as these ones are an absolute joke, there is still so much to get done and we move in there 2 weeks today, they better get there fingers out i swear. anyway we came home and had a lovely steak and cheese pie with totties and veg for NY dinner it was great though I'm stuffed now lol. Well I'm off to get Lucy down for the night and then hopefully get some scrap booking layouts done as i have a few challenges that need to be completed this week. Atleast Gary finishes up tonight for 6 days.

See you all tomorrow
